cooking procedure needs updating !! Overall Food Value Service Atmosphere Goodcplace to eat fried food, I would suggest rather than prepare 1 order at a time, that they look a few orders a head: ie waiting 35 min for 2 one piece orders is not fair to the customers, especially with empty fryers. Why not cook a pound or two of fries at the same time same as with the fish? As good as the food was there were several unhappy people. IN MY OPINION...THE BEST NS HAS TO OFFER IN FISH & CHIPS!!! Overall Food Value Service Atmosphere The first time I was taken there by my aunt, I knew it would become a favourite. The fish was so fresh & the homemade tartar sauce complimented the fish so nicely. Over the years I have taken many of my friends there with the promise that they are about to indulge in the best fish & chips they have ever had. For the record, I have yet to have any of them diagree with me. Besides the food, Harbourside offers friendly, competent staff. I always enjoy my visits & my food! WHOLE CLAMS & FRIES, HADDOCK & FRIES, AND SEAFOOD PLATTER Overall Food Value Service Atmosphere Harbour Fish N' Fries is a sweet roadside diner, painted a friendly fire engine red. It's the #1 place I go when I really want to treat myself, they serve WHOLE CLAMS!!! The seafood is gently deep fried in a nice light batter and the fries are golden brown. My favourite thing to order is their seafood platter which includes whole clams, scallops, haddock, and fries. I order it without fries as they give you so much seafood I never have enough room left in my tummy for the fries!!! My husband always gets the three piece haddock and fries, it's quite a job for him to finish it all as they give generous helpings, but he manages!!! We drive from Stewiacke to Musquodoboit Harbour just to have their food (3/4 hour drive). I'm 51 so I've sampled my share of Nova Scotia seafood, trust me when I say theirs is right up there with the very best!!!
