"Dreadful Service!!" Swiss Chalet Chicken and Ribs
| Close | More Info |
My family and I love the food here, but the service at this particular restaurant has been going steadily downhill over the last couple of years. Our last experience was dreadful. We waited well over an hour to be served, as did several other customers. We won't be going back!!

"Two Chefs And Then Some" Two Chefs Restaurant
| Close | More Info |
I and my family and friends eat at the Two Chefs regularly. They feature an excellent buffet dinner every day except Saturday at very reasonable prices, as well as a full a la carte menu. The food is excellent, the service is excellent and the decor is warm, very clean and friendly. Our favourite is the east Indian buffet which they put up every Thursday at 5pm. Salad bar, selection of curries, rice, bread and vegetables, dessert and coffee / tea, all for $13.99 plus tax. Highly recommended. Great owners and staff.

"Great Daily Specials" Oasis Bar & Grill
| Close | More Info |
If you are like me, then you are either tight on cash or a stickler for paying a lot for food. Oasis offers much more than the $5 daily specials, but those are what keep me coming back. Whether it's the $.25 wings, $5 steak and fries, or $5 nachos, they all deliver on great value, taste, and they are plenty filling.
The atmosphere is great, whether you go on a busy sport event night or are grabbing a quick bite during the afternoon or early evening.
Many items are priced below the $5 specials, but it's hard to go wrong with them any day of the week!
Would recommend, you'll see me ...

"afternoon tea" Blomidon Inn
| Close | More Info |
I love my tea and scones, and there is nothing better then sitting at this beautiful inn on the ST. Lawrence river and sipping the afternoon away with my bridge club. We usually like to wait till the weather is a bit warmer but once the sun comes out we are off to wolfville for "tea treats" followed by gin and tonics at my house and some fast tourny style cribbage. I will beat you next time vera.

"Cheap and decent!" Dharma Sushi Restaurant

Although this isn't my favourite sushi place in Halifax, it certainly is a great place to grab a feed of sushi and not break your pocket book. The service is particularly great and fast. I would definitely recommend it.

"great view and ok dishes!" MacAskill's Restaurant

This restaurant could not be in a greater location. Wonderful view, wonderful seafood chowder. Unfortunately the rest of the fare is rather bland and over salted. The restaurant's a little dingy and badly needs to be renovated. The wait staff are very friendly. Value is also good!

"Outstanding" Da Maurizio
| Close | More Info |
Attentive service and stylish but comfortable atmosphere were wonderful, but the food is what really made this stand out. I had three courses and each was memorably excellent. Entrees were all about $30 and appetizer around $10... But for the price, you get outstanding food!
