We have started going to BoonDocks again, now that it's under new management. A really nice German couple now run the restraurant, and the changes are great! On top of the great seafood selections, now there's a great German menue! Connie (Owner) makes the best desserts in metro! Completely home made, none of the frozen stuff you get almost everywhere else. The German food is great, and there's a wonderfull selection of German beer and wines as well... which is nice. We're local and exploring restaurants in our area. We had an evening dinner and found this to be a relaxing restaurant with attentive staff and good food. Service was fast, caesar dressing was house made and delicious as were the cheesecakes. We both had ribs and they were tender with delicious sauce. We found the prices to be slightly cheaper than other restaurants in the area and we've reviewed several for our blog. Elizabeth Faires

my husband and i took his sister and brother-in-law to Boondocks last week (October 28th) and we were all pleased with the service and the food was very good. The special, a haddock dish was perfectly cooked and the vegetables were fresh and crisp. We didn't have room for dessert,( I remember the previous desserts being terrible!) but the new owners have what looks like a nice selection of home made cakes etc. Hopefully, the new owners, who were very friendly, will be able to keep improving the service, and menu etc, that other reviewers have found disappointing.

While out shopping today my husband and I thought we'd stop for your buffet but we were very disappointed as there was no ceasar salad left( a male worker asked for it to be refilled, and it never was during our meal, the Tettrazini was at the end and I feel it should have been refilled with fresh...Noone came to ask how our meal was or If we needed anything else, Today, I was Not impressed!

We dined at the Trapeze a year ago and it was terrific.We went back on Oct 14 this year and what a change.The menu had changed and downsized terribly.My husband ordered a medium steak and when it arrived it was well well done.I ordered a haddock ,which also was well done.Our waitress was lovely and offered to take our food back but we declined as at this point we just wanted to GO.A mouse ran under our table and I am terrified of them I told waitress they had a mouse and she said they were aware of it and to be glad it wasn't a wharf rat..not exactly the answer I expected.Then as another negat ...

i dont know who the cook was or if ya's just ran out of ingredients but i ordered a supreme poutene for take-out and it wasnt supremed. it was just cheese, fries and onions.no gravy, no hamburg or bacon and no peppers...whats up with that? i normally love the food but you were slacking today :( p.s.-it sucks paying for something and not getting it!

The food is ok the prices have gone up over the year so value ok I have seen better - the service is the very very slow worst I have ever experienced in any restaurant in Metro. This need improvement for sure so if you have time take it in if not do not go cause it takes a long time to get served and your food.

okay mcdonalds food is pretty much the same everywhere, and its not even that the food suck, it's that they never EVER give you what you freaking ordered ! & for anyone that likes thier food done a specific way (extra pickles, onions, lettuce, etc.) i suggest you DON'T change the menu in the least when you or else you'll confuse them so bad you'll likely end up witha coffee from tim hortons. Also if you order anything chicken on the menu you and they ask you grilled or crispy ? just tell them its up to them so you're not so disapponted when you get the exact opposite of what you actually aske ...

The staff were not friendly and did not make us feel welcome. In addition, both plates of pasta ordered tasted and looked like they had been microwaved. Based on the poor service, and the even worse food I would not waste your time (or your money -- very overpriced) at this restaurant!
